Announcing our new directors!
We are delighted to announce that senior solicitors, Adeela Khan and Rosie Worster, have accepted invitations to become managing directors of Commons. Rhona Friedman will continue her serious and complex crime, appeal, extradition and private client work for the firm. Grace Loncraine will be focusing on our project work, along with Sashy Nathan who leads our policy and lobbying work.
From 1 April 2026, Commons will be moving its headquarters to Bristol where Rosie and Adeela are both based, enabling us to offer our services to a wider client constituency whilst continuing to take cases for people in London, across the country and overseas.
It is almost ten years since Commons was established as the criminal law firm for social justice, pioneering holistic defence in the UK. Adeela’s reputation as a senior protest lawyer and Rosie’s growing expertise in the same field have contributed to Commons being recognised as a leading criminal defence firm nationally. Their commitment to providing class-leading client care is core to the firm’s social justice mission.
